Competition – Good or Bad
The subject of competition is controvisial in schools today. Some believe it encourages students to move forward to today’s competitive world. However, co-operation and teamwork helps students to build communcation skills. It provides students with trust in each other inspite of their differences. As students work in teams, it takes the pressure off the individual.

On the flip side, some say competing hurts self-esteem and leads to bad feelings. Others feel it doesn’t improve writing skills or oral communication.
