Technology has influenced this generation’s printing and cursive writing. Today, students do not practice written word as previous generations. Students use their computers and iPhones to type assignments. Some even take a picture of notes on a whiteboard rather than copy on paper.

They may limit their written word to journals, diaries, or personal notes. Undoubtedly, writing is important.
